2003 BMW 330i ZHP For Sale: $11,999

2003 BMW 330i, 88,800 miles. 6 speed manual transmission. Dealer & expert-maintained. Very clean and smooth running BMW with the ZHP Peroformance Package. I am getting 27 mpg per the onboard computer, so great gas mileage.

Here are the goodies:
  • Heated leather sports seats.
  • Moonroof.
  • Harman Kardon sound (great!).
  • HomeLink (built-in buttons programmable for garage doors).
  • ZHP package, which includes factory upgrades to the 3 series including BMW "M" 18" wheels, sport suspension and tuning, improved stainless exhaust, short shifter, and more powerful engine than standard 330i.

This was BMW's answer to a 4-door M3 in the E46 model line, and has an "M-only" paint color (imola red, which is a richer red than on many BMWs) as well as M body trim (front and rear spoilers and side skirts).

Car has had oil change in last 500 miles with BMW synthetic.  Has also had front control arm bushings replaced, which should be good for quite a while.

I have two sets of wheels for the car.  Ones pictured above (stock), and ones pictured below, which are 17" wheels with about 25% of tread remaining.  Tires on the stock wheels are almost new on front, and 25% remaining on rears (big wide tires).

The interior is in great shape, never smoked-in.  I'd rate it a 9 out of 10 only due to a very little wear around the cup holders.  Exterior has some typical paint chips on the front from wonderful trucks I get to drive with every day on i435.  The front spoiler is most rough part of the car, as expected.  I'd rate exterior at a 7.5 (I'm picky).

The original "alcantara" steering wheel was replaced by the dealer under warranty, swapped for a leather wheel by the previous owner, who didn't like the alcantara fuzzing-up.

Great car, and great price.  I've had 3 BMWs including the original M3, and have driven many more, and this one is by far the best combination of balance, performance, and "usefulness."

FYI, take a look at zhpregistry.net. If has a free classifieds section. Might be a good place to list the car as well.
